Ruby
Ruby is a workshop facilitator, fundraiser and producer with a background working with children & families. She has had an eclectic career so far including co-founding the FLAPS project which provides emotional welfare at music festivals, supporting families in the asylum system, and working for a member of the Scottish Parliament. She worked in artist-liaison and as a technician for the Acoustic Music Centre from 2013-2017.
From 2019-2023 Ruby was Creative Producer of the Children & Families Network at Licketyspit theatre & play company. Currently with Licketyspit, she is a Lead Actor-Pedagogue, and provides fundraising, communications and project development support on a regular basis.
Ruby has a PGDE in Primary Education and a Masters in Latin American Studies, when she explored community building through Mayan philosophy in Mexico City.
Ruby grew up playing the fiddle and is currently in a dance punk band called Winch.
She joined Deiseil Airson Dannsa in May 2025 as a Producer and Production Manager.
